About Ellipses Press… x Ellipses (…) can represent omissions or also a promise of words yet to be. x The big NY publishers, for varied and unfortunate reasons, have an ever-narrowing view of “what readers want” and what, and who, “should” be published. The result is that all too often, thoughtful and compelling stories, arguments and voices are discounted or overlooked entirely. x Launched in 2021, Ellipses Press was established to initiate, support, and publish such projects and voices. We work with writers to produce thought-provoking, and sometimes challenging, nonfiction: political and social texts, “conspiracy theories,” memoirs, self-help, and true crime. x Readers deserve more choices, new and varied voices, and a more-comprehensive examination of our world.
